District Exotic Jetcars: Luxury watercraft experience in DMV area

During the COVID-19 pandemic, entrepreneur Nakornsri Sintaisong found comfort, respite and relief on the water, and now she’s giving those in the DMV area an opportunity to tap into aquatic fun through her new venture District Exotic Jetcars.

“During the pandemic, I saw boats, I saw yachts, I saw watercrafts on the water and I just imagined myself being on one, or to experience one,  and even to live on one,” she told The Informer, recalling times she’d spend walking along DMV waterfronts such as The Wharf, Hains Point, and in Old-Town, Alexandria.

Sintaisong explained she wanted an energy shift.  First, she joined Freedom Boat Club and got her boating license. She said her time riding boats as a captain built her confidence as she sailed along the water. She then purchased a Porsche 992, and became a member of Fast Lane Drive, an exotic car club in the District.

“I wanted people to experience what I’ve experienced, the thrill and the confidence that I gained connecting with nature. You just feel so inspired,” Sintaisong said. “You want to express yourself more, you want to create more, and it’s giving you that permission to just live your dream life.”

District Exotic Jetcars was born out of the mission to offer people an opportunity to live their best lives.  A luxury watercraft experience, District Exotic Jetcars provides the opulence of a yacht, vibes of a boat, and the thrill of a supercar and jet ski all at once.

A federal government contracting partner, Sintaisong teamed up with her business partner Tom Gill, to create the splendid sports cars with a nautical twist.  While they’ve had soft launches of the car since last fall, with “a lot of hard work,” and licensing, District Exotic Jetcars officially opened for business on May 5 at the Hamptons Landing Marina in Woodbridge, Virginia.

“We strategically selected this location because there’s no wake zone so you can go as fast as you want,” she explained. “So people can freely, really experience the thrill of it. And then also we have a drone service as well. So, the drone service is going to follow our clients while they’re out there in the water… And so it’s definitely catering to the social media lovers out there.”

Gathering on Luxurious Watercrafts: Experience their Power, Leave Empowered

With her involvement in groups like Freedom Boat Club and Fast Lane Drive, Sintaisong is no stranger to the District’s aquatic and exotic car lovers— a tight-knit community that is about building networks, meeting new friends and giving back to charities, according to Clement Connor.

“It’s honestly such an amazing group here. D.C.’s the fastest growing chapter in the planet,” said Connor, CEO and founder of Fast Lane Drive at an event previewing District Exotic Jetcars on April 6. “D.C. is such a strong community.”

Now, Sintaisong is expanding beyond the sports car and boating community and offering all people an opportunity to enjoy the luxury experience that is District Exotic Jetcars.

The fleet alone encourages people to tap into their inner power and strength.

“We have six watercrafts right now, and all of them are each named after a Greek goddess. And every goddess is so powerful,” the District Exotic Jetcars CEO told The Informer.

For $350 an hour, experience the power, beauty, speed and joy of: Hera, Aphrodite, Athena, Selene, Electra and Astrea, the six different watercrafts currently offered.

Business owner Danielle Stewart said riding Selene was an empowering experience.

“I was drawn to the jet car Selene, which is the goddess of the moon who was known to drive her moon chariot across the sky every night. The Selene jet car is a carefully crafted sleek silver Mercedes with speeds up to 80 miles per hour,” Stewart told The Informer. “Riding in it made me feel like a powerful goddess, with the wind in my hair, gliding effortlessly on the majestic Potomac River. It was truly an exhilarating experience that left me feeling invigorated and in awe of the beauty around me. I would absolutely ride them again.”

With some of the cars having up to four seats, from date nights to birthday parties or special celebrations, Stewart said District Exotic Jetcars is a perfect way to spend a day out with friends and family.

“All of the cars have radio and Bluetooth so you can listen to music while riding, which is a nice added touch. What I love about the cars is that you can control the speed, and determine whether you want a slow smooth sail on the water, or a fast exhilarating experience. You truly are the captain on these luxury jet cars,” Stewart explained.

Stewart encouraged people to try District Exotic Jetcars for a good time and added bonus of empowerment.

“There is nothing else quite like it in this area, and definitely a must-try activity for the summer,” she said.
