Tony Yayo Reveals 50 Cent Financed ‘Final Lap’ Tour

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is taking a stand to eliminate the stigma that Black companies don’t pay well. In recent years, 50 Cent has spoken out about pay equity in defense of entertainers like Mo’Nique, Taraji P. Henson, and Terrence Howard. While advocating for others, he boasts about ensuring the cast of his “Power” and “BMF” series are paid correctly. So, it should be no surprise that former G-Unit member and rapper Tony Yayo divulged that 50 Cent also paid for his entire tour.
On a recent episode of DJVlad’s podcast/interview series, Yayo, who has been rolling with 50 since childhood, discussed some of the things that occurred during the “In Da Club” rapper’s recent tour. Yayo joined his friend on the “Final Lap” tour that started last July. The artists performed in 70 cities across more than 20 countries. Yayo shared that 50 is a great headliner and businessman. It was 50 who financed all aspects of the tour.
“Everybody’s coming there, of course, to work for 50 ’cause 50 cuts the budget. But when you think of everything that’s behind it, from production, road management, catering, dancers, f**kin’ stewardess on the jet, pilots, everybody’s like one big team,” he said. “And 50 pays for everything.”
Yayo even remarked that he made six figures on the road with 50.

First making a name for himself as a rapper, 50 has seen success in the movie and television industry. He is also the owner of a spirits company, Sire Spirits.
According to the Orlando Magic, 50 Cent and his company, Sire Spirits, have agreed to a multiyear partnership with the NBA team to make 50’s brand the Official Spirit of the Orlando Magic. This deal will include Sire Spirits’ award-winning Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne brands. This is just the latest as 50 is also partnering with the Houston Rockets, the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Indiana Pacers, and the Sacramento Kings, among other professional teams in various leagues.
