Jackson is speaking out against Britney amid the release of “The Woman In Me” memoir where Spears shares details about their shared ex Kevin Federline (K-Fed). While the “Baby One More Time” pop star speaks on how “clueless” she was about Federline’s situation with Jackson, the “Moesha” star is calling out Spears for starting her three-year romance with Federline while Jackson was six months pregnant with their second child.
“When Kevin met Britney we had three kids and one on the way and we were living in a six-bedroom house in Orange County, California,” Jackson told Daily Mail in an interview published Friday.
“One day, when I had bad morning sickness and was about six months pregnant, Kevin had an audition for a Coke commercial or something in LA … then I didn’t hear from him for three days.”
According to Jackson, she soon learned that while Federline was missing at home, he met Spears that same night.
“I felt angry and betrayed and I went numb. I went onto autopilot,” she recalled.
Spears claims she had already been dating Federline for “a while” before a friend revealed to her he was still involved with Jackson and shared three children with her. Federline and Jackson already had a daughter name Kori, and he helped raise her two children from a previous relationship. They ere expecting their second child together (Jackson’s fourth) at the time Federline embarked on a public high-profile romance with the international pop star.
However, according to Jackson, Spears was well aware of Federline’s situation with Jackson and even waited outside the Orange County hospital when he and Jackson welcomed their son Kaleb. Spears and Federline would go on to get engaged days after Kaleb was born.
“I think [Spears’] relationship with Kevin was a fantasy for both of them,” Jackson said. “I never hated Kevin because if you really love someone you can’t hate them.”
