LSU Student Arrested for Allegedly Selling Child Porn On Instagram

LSU student Jahi Palmer-Davis is in police custody, accused of trading and selling child porn via Instagram.

Subsequent to obtaining a search warrant for Palmer-Davis’s Instagram account, investigators unearthed two explicit images and a conversation between his account and fellow Instagram users. This conversation revolved around the trading and selling of videos featuring child porn, providing additional cause for concern regarding the extent of Palmer-Davis’s alleged involvement.

Law enforcement officials also revealed that Palmer-Davis engaged in a conversation with an individual self-identifying as a 14-year-old. He not only allegedly sent explicit videos to this juvenile but also imparted guidance on where to post explicit photos online, exacerbating the gravity of the charges against him.

In light of these allegations, Jahi Palmer-Davis has been incarcerated at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Connecting the dots in the case, authorities additionally tied Palmer-Davis to the alleged crime through his Google email account, as revealed in the charging documents.
