First African American Director For ABC News Live Expanding Horizons

Nationwide — Michael Dante Dottin, a renowned audio engineer, Technical Production Manager, and the founder/CEO of 319 Media Group, has expanded his professional horizons to now include segment producer and first African-American director at ABC News Live. Dottin’s extensive experience and creative vision have paved the way for the production of original content, including game shows, reality TV programs, and television series, under the banner of 319 Media Group.

Dante, creator and host of Salute TV and The Sit Down, is most recently recognized as the director, and co-producer of segments of ABC’s Hip-Hop At 50 and is now set to take center stage as he transitions to full-time production of engaging and innovative shows for his entertainment company, 319 Media Group’s. With a rich background as an audio engineer, Dottin has lent his expertise to major news agencies, such as CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC, before stepping into his hybrid roles as the first African-American director and segment producer.

While his professional journey began in 1995, it was in 2006 when Dante founded 319 Media Group with a vision to produce a diverse range of captivating television properties. With an unwavering commitment to quality and creativity, Dottin is poised to bring fresh and compelling content to audiences, further solidifying his reputation as a dynamic force in the entertainment landscape.
