Nationwide — Garcelle Beauvais, 58, has confirmed she is leaving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons. The actress shared the news on Instagram, explaining that she wants to focus on her family and upcoming projects.
In the Instagram video, Beauvais reflected on her time on the show. “It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride,” Beauvais said.
She went on to share that her decision to leave is mainly to spend more time with her sons, who are entering their final year of high school, and to support Jaid’s new career. She also hinted at exciting projects in development, which she plans to announce soon.
Beauvais thanked her fans and fellow cast members for their support. “The door will always be open, so you never know. I might pop back in some time,” she added. She thanked fans for cheering her on, fighting for her, and being part of her journey.
According to WBLS, Beauvais joined the cast in 2020 and was excited to bring diversity to the show. As a longtime fan and friend of Denise Richards and Lisa Rinna, she welcomed the opportunity to step outside her comfort zone and emphasized the importance of representation on screen.
While her departure marks the end of an era, Beauvais reassured fans that “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.”
